"all the way"?

The difference between the external- internal

Today the focus is not the  Christ but  systems of being institutionalized, 2 Corinthians  gives us a peek at the new man  over the old form.

But when any of them believes in the Lord Jesus, God removes that veil from them.   It is by the power of his Spirit that the Lord works in our lives, and the Lord's Spirit has set us free from trying to obey the all the rules and rituals that God gave Moses.   It is as though God has removed the veil from our faces . We realize how awesome Jesus is. As we realize that, we are continually being changed { the Holy Spirit is continually changing us} to become more and more like Jesus, so that people can see, more and more, how awesome Jesus is. It is the Spirit of the Lord who does this.

It;s not easy very little today deals with the inward awareness it;s always looking to the out side.

As our bodies get weaker, God continually makes our inner lives stronger. He will reward us for all that we have suffered.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18  our inner live do we even know what that looks like? anymore?

will not be houses that people have made. They will be new bodies in which we will live forever in heaven. 2  While we are here on earth, we suffer. We often groan because we desire to go to heaven where God will give us our new bodies .

Keep in mind that if you really want to give something to help others, whatever any one of you is able to give will be pleasing to God. God does not expect his people to give more than they can afford to give. 13 I do not mean that you should give so much to help others that you yourselves do not have what you need. No, what I want is that both you and others will have what you need.

However, just like Satan, when he cunningly appeared as a snake, deceived Eve's thinking and caused her to disobey the Lord God, I am concerned that those teachers will cause you to think wrongly so that you will no longer be faithful to Christ alone. When people treat you as if they were your bosses, you gladly submit to them. You think that it is all right when others force you provide for their needs. You think that it is all right when people take control over you, when they boast about themselves, or when they insult you by slapping you in the face. 21 I agree that I was not bold enough to treat you in such ways. So do you think that I should feel ashamed because I did not do that?

Paul has already mentioned “tablets of stone,” and then the “new covenant.” He then builds the contrast between the new and the old. His authenticity as an apostle of Christ is not built upon the old covenant, but upon the new — not on the letters engraved in stone, but in the Spirit of God.

Let’s see how he develops the contrast: “Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?”

“For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory” (verse 10). The Ten Commandments have no glory now, Paul is saying, in comparison to the new covenant, which brings life and righteousness.

“And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!” What was fading away? Moses’ face was fading, but Paul is not talking about Moses’ face any more — he is talking about “the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone.” That is what “came with glory” (verse 7). That is what was fading away.
The Ten Commandments, Paul is saying, came with glory, but they were temporary, just as surely as the glory of Moses’ face was temporary. The new covenant not only has much greater glory, but it also “lasts.” The Ten Commandments, Paul implies, do not last forever. They were designed as a temporary “ministry of condemnation,” designed to lead people to Christ.

Wisdom

“I came to you not with eloquence or superior wisdom (Apollos-like) as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God….My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words (Apollos-like again), but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.”

The lack of the Spirit’s power in leaders, teachers and ‘believers’ leads to division, exploitation, the abuse of people and the misuse of the name of God. It is blasphemy. Paul is arguing the difference between abstraction and authenticity. In my view this is a fundamental issue with many modern Bible-teaching Assemblies  today.

HEART BREAKING at all levels..

Another tragic shooting,? spiritual problems on a grand scale marks the moral demise of our culture?. I thought we could have our way , says " do as thou wilt" formulates the whole of Alister Crowley's wishes to a culture  unable contain it self  enough to know the differences between right and wrong.

Of it;s own demise? over decades of  sliding back wards. Deep sorrow for sure awful stuff .
I think along list is not needed, we all know what we been doing, voting for  much like ancient Rome isn't it.   And wondering why things back fire like this , I think we ran out of excuses long time back??  we live in fallen world for sure, but we also bare responsibility for what we matured it into.... thanks ....

Praying for a deeply troubled nation. Maybe we need to take the cars away since  all the wild deliria wrecks havoc there  as well. As we become more and more institutionalized we are less likely to think well enough to handle  freedom?  or even think for our selves enough to parent the way God designed it to be.. Just thinking ....

Be nice if we stop making excuses for deeply distorted thinking problems we embraced as a new way and   blame others or guns  bottle needles and  rest of the excuses for our own failures....

1.willful  for the demise the family unit .!!!
2. Faith and stop lying to our selves long enough to make some real sense for ounce be nice...  we all know what what's been  done??? no big secret we got what we ask for....

Sorry for the looses always is ,  tragic , perhaps if we were honest we might just see we been on the wrong path despite the toys, tiles, ego trips,  and the rest of the mindless  results we're seeing... worse part is it's all politicized  to support those who moved us  into the twilight zone like culture  we're seeing shape up , just an observation . God sets standards man changes them,  there's verse in the OT that says because you have no listened to me , you shall have conflict, amazing... ...

paul addresses a real wisdom

I came to you not with eloquence or superior wisdom (Apollos-like) as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God….My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words (Apollos-like again), but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.”

The lack of the Spirit’s power in leaders, teachers and ‘believers’ leads to division, exploitation, the abuse of people and the misuse of the name of God. It is blasphemy.
“Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to   you and remove your lampstand from its place” (Rev 2:4-5). James assertion is chilling; ”… the body without the spirit is dead…..” (James2:26).

truthward..
