If the church in the second half of this century is to recover from the injuries she suffered in the first half, there must appear a new type of preacher. The proper, ruler-of-the-synagogue type will never do. Neither will the priestly type of man who carries out his duties, takes his pay and asks no questions, nor the smooth-talking pastoral type who knows how to make the Christian religion acceptable to everyone. All these have been tried and found wanting. Another kind of religious leader must arise among us. He must be of the old prophet type, a man who has seen visions of God and has heard a voice from the Throne. When he comes (and I pray God there will be not one but many) he will stand in flat contradiction to everything our smirking, smooth civilization holds dear. He will contradict, denounce and protest in the name of God and will earn the hatred and opposition of a large segment of Christendom. TOZAR


I must say, amen, My prayer for the lost is that the real Christ is not found in the glitter of man's religion but in simplicity of Jesus, man  giving himself  freely to be led by a sight that eyes can not attain to walk by faith.NW

 Walking along side of me, it was so wonderful one night sitting in those deeply remote places, as I wander ever higher and deeper, the rain came, and finally soaked, I got to sit and hear the voice the creators music in the sounds of the tapping water under a small tarp...

The purpose of God;s reveling truth in us where he dwells.

Vision is so important that, without it, the Bible says our life will decay and perish: “Where there is no vision, the people perish . . .” (Proverbs 29:18, KJV). Another translation says: “Where there is no revelation (“prophetic vision”), the people cast off restraint (“live carelessly”)” (NKJV).  Getting to Know God is an entirely living matter now and for ever.

 

To me, this verse carries a two-fold challenge: If we are not walking in prophetic vision, seeking God's will 1 corinth1-3 then we are causing others to live carelessly without conviction of the truth of the Gospel by not allowing  the truth  to be known among them. Thus we end up are also caught in a downward spiral that causes Luke warmness of heart and undisciplined living.

 

 And there is no true joy and victory in Christianity when we live that way nor is there a hope granted to the lost without the Good news.

 

 Our own faith becomes little more then a philosophy with it's lifeless rules and things to do and meetings to go to. A vision becomes a by product of personal connection an effort which has and is seeking the   connection spoke of in in John 13-17 KJ3.

Prince of the air – Paul reminds Christians that they were dead in their trespasses and since in which they “formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air.” Satan is the prince of the air and thus controls the thoughts of those in the world system. The Bible says: “The whole world lies in the power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19). So we should not be surprised that we find ourselves in the midst of spiritual warfare.

 How I feel about insitutionalism?  early faith was based on relationship, so was government,  the depersonalization of the people working in place of structurethe dictorial forms  was  assumed over a respectable caring relationship, of the past.Led to demise of creativity, ability, and the collaspe of business, fellowship or any other fabricated institution one after another, greed has it;s  price. The populace lost control of it;s rights and nation to minor groups often of forign orgin.

The places I saw in the 1960's were driven by community,which was primary concern that;'s gone now, and driven by  depersonalized techniques of managing people as if they are heard of wild beasts was described by some in a recent article.

The industries   once the considered the best are now reduced to having to struggle win any credibility back if at all poosible the work force that knew what it was doing is nearly gone but few places trying to regain  a more healthy way of thought and soul..

Besides, wherever two or three are gathered, that is where Christ will be in the midst of them. It;s simple easy, it;s relational has nothing to do with additional buildings and all the added features, that was the reason  the fall in 70Ad..
The people are the temple, simple. 1 Corinth 2 makes not way for anything but  the original form  is derived out of a knowable relationship. Jesus was threat to the money changes than as he is now. The temple we should not be laden with undo love for the things of the  world and make it sound spiritually acceptable.

The reason for the stagnation is no different now as it was fro ancient Israel, all the Hellenistic/  philosophy and legalism will not appease the Spirit of God, only faith does, so what are we waiting for ?Time lost is gone for ever. Both loose in the end MS.

The lord was seeking to work through his entire body not just the few, the priesthood of all the believers, teachers elders are servants , they all gather to express the wonders God did through each of them,  what the gathering was largely composed of as was worship. They met in homes and fields etc.

Adding or taking?

Deuteronomy 4:2
2Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

You cannot add to his word to make it fit your lifestyle and neither can you take something out of it that you disagree with so you don’t have to change. Once you alter the word it isn’t good anymore because it’s your word now not Gods.

 I also 2 Corinth 3 looking at the very text which reminds me we are a relational covenant now, not the former but the one which is Spirit led.   I think the true ecclesia  is free of the institutionalism we gotten into it's man made systems having become an end in themselves.   we will all answer to, is "did you do what I ask you to do" which is a deeply  personal phrase implying connection over rule following or programs.

God was not interested in Israel doing the same  in the past. It was ended when Christ came. The idea of buildings,  God said you can not contain my glory nor can our manufactured theologies contain  him, only which can be spiritually understood is by seeking that personal connect through his son. 1 Corinth 1,2,3.  kj3 young's literal.

It's a relationship now and latter on, all of us, build each other, get used to going it early. we felt it was time to get back into acts like way of life, Jesus way simple and the egos get laid aside into service  rather than an industry of.


 Christ is not another religion, but a relationship alive and waiting fro those whom he draws, we have enough man made belief systems I think the people out there want to see the real Christ for a change  not anther religion, the body is not divided their is truth and there is error no other way someone is right and someone is wrong, Absolutes exist Romans 9 read it KJ3, Young's literal,
