Paul was keenly aware of the unseen spiritual battle raging around him, which is the reason why he kept on telling those to whom he wrote that they must not be ignorant. Yes, evangelization and missions are important, but if you will take the time to check it out, you will find that 90% (or more) of the New Testament is devoted to doctrine and instruction in righteousness. with precious little devoted to "how to witness seminars." And every bit of it is intended to equip the saints for a life of service in the middle of the battle.

 Beloved, the average Christian, seated in the average Church today, is being fed a steady diet of salvation sermons and "warmed-over psychology," with no teaching whatsoever on the enemy! Oh, the devil and hell are mentioned just enough to try to scare someone into "making a decision for Christ," but anything of real substance relative to the subject of spiritual warfare is totally lacking.

Do you know why? The simple, but devastating, truth is that your preachers are ignorant of spiritual warfare! They were not taught this in seminary and most have made no effort to learn it on their own. The emphasis is on numbers while the enemy is savaging the sheep left and right. A good general would never dream of sending his troops into battle without first giving them at least a minimum of training. with one of the most important points of that training to be how to recognize and neutralize the enemy! But Christians are being sent out to fight the original "unconventional war" without a real clue as to the stated aims and strategies of the "dark side" (and if you think that "Star Wars" creator George Lucas invented the term, your ignorance is showing!).

 

 

Interestingly enough, over the last few decades the entertainment media has become more and more active in promoting the occult agenda. And their objective is very transparent, once you are made aware that an agenda exists. They are utilizing to the fullest the aspect of human nature that will eventually tolerate almost anything to which we become accustomed. Once again, the old adage concerning the frog and boiling water applies here: "Put a frog in hot water and it will promptly jump out, but put it in cool water, slowly turn up the heat, and you can cook the frog to death!" Slowly but surely, our spiritual enemies are turning up the heat, while sweat is the only indication of danger most ever see. as they stew in their own juice.

 

 God. s people are under an all-out assault by demons out of the pit and pastors continue to "play the numbers game" while their flocks are being lulled to sleep and picked off one-by-one. Genuine Christians have bought into and have become totally involved in a merry-go-round of activities, plans, programs, and "do-gooder" schemes, while our own children are succumbing to the temptations of the world around them. May God have mercy on us for our spiritual ignorance and stupidity!

 

 

David Bay, our director and "editor", has made it a point to educate himself by studying the ever-increasing number of "New Age" and Black Magick writings making the rounds today and through the medium of the internet and seminars, to attempt to educate others. As I have personally tried to inform fellow pastors and missionaries about this ministry. with the sincere hope that they will take advantage of the information. I am constantly confronted by an attitude of "ignore him and maybe he will go away!" No one has yet been rude enough to tell me that I am off-base, but their lack of action speaks volumes. We often receive written rebukes from women who are practicing Wicca, deriding us for equating them and their beliefs with witchcraft and claiming that we are mistaken, but their very name gives them away. "Wicce" was the Old English term for "witch"! Just because they give their beliefs a shiny veneer of "doing good" and "having a love for nature," doesn't. t change the fact that they are practitioners of white (or "good") magick. one form of witchcraft. black (or destructive) magick being the other. Satan worship is thriving and the U.S. Army has now allowed a coven of witches to operate openly as a religion. How many Christians know (or even care) about these facts? OXFORD  defines those terms well  though they seek to do good, the lord  desires they truth no him rather than mother nature . God requires we come through his son.

Too many American Christians today do not want to hear any "harsh" things said to them, even if it is the truth. They want to hear that Jesus Christ is all "love", and they certainly do not want to hear of spiritual warfare. These people are willfully ignorant, and the time is coming quickly when their willful ignorance may cost them dearly.

 

Many is the time I heard the late Dr. J. Vernon McGee make statements on his radio program (or read it in his books) relative to people not wanting to study doctrine or engage in serious Bible study. And I know from my own personal experience as a pastor that this is the plain, unvarnished truth! Plus we constantly get email from those who want to accuse us of hatred because we dare to tell them what they do not want to hear and challenge their beliefs. but that is just too bad, because preachers are supposed to "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable", in order to stimulate us to greater spiritual maturity! we're praying for the victims of drugs and  the traffickers and the abuse of the occult in the use of the young and infants etc that we have seen and heard of  in reports listed  to the findings through America and else where..

Pragmatism and the Truth

There is a prevalent and persuasive enemy of the Truth that we need spiritual discernment in this hour to overcome. That enemy is a mindset and philosophy called “pragmatism”.  Pragmatism is defined as “a non-speculative system of philosophy which regards the practical consequences and useful results of ideas as a test of their truthfulness, and which considers truth itself as a process.”  (The Living Webster Encyclopedic Dictionary) The basic tenet of pragmatism is “If it works, it is true.”  The end results of an idea or practice, therefore, determine its ultimate truthfulness and validity. This kind of thinking appeals to our logical and practical approach to life. It permeates our culture and has also found its home in the Church.

 

 

On the surface pragmatism doesn’t appear to be an enemy. So often we embrace it as a friend and counselor. When we take a deeper look, however, we discover its subtle deception. Pragmatism starts at the end of the process of truth, and then works its way backwards. It starts with the results of an idea or practice. If these are desirable, then it validates the truthfulness of the concept that led to that end. Truth, therefore, is subjective and changeable depending on the judgment of the one assessing the outcome. Through this process man ends up “creating truth” as it suits or seems reasonable to him.

 

Biblical truth, on the other hand, starts at the beginning of the process of Truth, and then works forwards to its outcome. The beginning or source of all Truth is God Himself. Out of His mouth come all wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Because it begins with Him, it is eternal, unchanging and absolute. It does not shift or bend to the approval or disapproval of its recipients. It is not evolving or progressive with time depending on social, cultural, scientific or intellectual advancements or non at all . It is true when its outcomes are favorable to man, and it is true when they are not.  Its validity is based on its Source, not its ends! proverbs 8 kj3.
