“For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake." Philippians 1:29
In the 11 years out in street ministry, I seen a lot of rough stuff and hurts and drug addiction, loneliness, hopelessness, and those corrupt, it;s been something, yes my life at risk? perhaps, The Lord Jesus died for me and my sin he took it all, no not perfect yet someday with him, only in him, I had to learn to die to myself out there,
I love the people, pray for their suffering and hope for their lives to change, that comes with it all MS.
There is nothing easy in the late hours far from home helping to trying to stop something or simply making it through.
The consequences of sin come around and in times no one would have thought as escapee, God catches any in the craftiness of their sin, theft, drug, addiction, or hate, crime, in so many ways, it all comes back.
things hurt at times, hard and joy comes as well in the face of the unpredictable events and no place to run to, it;s there real faith grows when we have reached outside of our own strength and ideas and to give or rescue others in those dark places.
The system will never fix it by legislation or prisons many are deeply abused in jails and lead to even greater issues later on. I see it, The core stuff is always the inner man that must change.
Not easy to step into a dark water and never look back and wait to see what the impossible brings. Taking the time to love those who have no hope and those who think they got it all, and having joy and experience with God is out side any book or idea it;s personal.
Jesus said to love one another as I have loved you? love comes with truth phil1;9
and if we love, as he has us, we do not seek to harm our neighbors, where ever they are..
Take care!
"read the word it;s good for the soul...
