How the spirit got so blurred and still a mystery for many

How did the Holy spirit got so blurred and mistaught..

And Paul jumps in with some more in Galatians:

Galatians 2:21 21 “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.” deep deception,
I have already said plenty about this postmodern side of Christianity with its seeker friendly church programs and emergent church doctrines. I also wrote an article about the rising influence of psychology and the dominionists in Christianity who see a triumphant church ruling in the earthly domain of Satan.

Yet, there is even a darker side of Christianity that few are talking about. Some in this darker side are the same ones who criticize the seeker friendly postmodern salvation lite message - so be very careful about the doctrine you receive.

Nevertheless, the fact that there is a darker side in Christianity is not an excuse for anyone to accept the errors of those who water down and dumb down Christian doctrine and paganize Christianity with New Age” concepts that lead most of Christianity down the path to Laodicea (lukewarm Christianity). getting free of the dark waters!!long ago here ,,,you;ll be attacked for knowing the differences ..

let's look at an ole statement made :1910

The author dr. fairbairne ,
But I promised  to show how the original pure doctrine concerning the  Holy spirit became corrupted. Quote  .

I need not be  prolix in doing so. The original doctrine was simple, and  so strictly demonstrated  their experience, that the first and second generations  accepted it  ,  as they did  the other primitive doctrines  without any dispositions accepted it ,  as they did  the other primitive doctrines without any disposition to  philosophize on the meta physical merits .

they understood them well enough for practical use, and felt no need  of  scholastic   subtitles  to mysticize their faith in them. NOT SO A LITTLE LATER!!!  it was greatly confused in later centuries  up to this day with many platonic and legal requirements were added  and   mixing and matching things, to reinforce  umbilical power  in and out of the alchemical  weddings political esoteric unions,  that intertwined it self   used later on,  in the rosicrucian versions were widely used and inserted where used ...

In these insertions the reactions to the twisted additives we see the dangerous  use of barbaric legalism and the burnings of those who told the truth,  fox subject many beatings   tyndale, was  burned  and others to this day!!might be good idea to se why  be sides guessing  it;s not well studied due the  lack of historical in depthness understanding,  discernment?  historical Honesty  allows for blindness to the nature of the control and power has imposed for many centuries since the original truth, ... thus the question of who is the new atlantis becomes pretty clear,,,, based bacon  on the  direction of the several centuries !!! as blurred pathways by intention..>??

Here is what the  fairbiane says  what it was like before the additives came  shifting terms and forms .  I called the magic of words a great read ,,, ((luther was case one ,  he resisted  and used the word gelmeine" the "commonality" or simply the people, he rejected the word church,  as in tution replacing the  simple people  with ole cov forms of the  priest craft once again!! amazing

#Legalism promotes the earning and keeping of God’s pleasure based upon what I do or do not do. When legalistic thinking is prevalent you are always trying to cut a deal with God or your conscience. You may feel guilty about what you have done and instead of running to Christ you run to Sinai, the Law, and look for something to do.

Legalism is a relentless task master that promotes your personal performance as your continuing personal atonement.

H e instituted  was absolutely without the most distinctive elements of the ole religious institutions .  the former cov, it knew no priesthood- had nothing to  for any priesthood to do, had no material, the spirit  of the new man being the temple of the  living God , it had no  fleshly sacrifices  either,  being a living sacrifice  which alone was acceptable to God .  By faith  nor did it seek to bide man by the  power of the flesh,  going back the law!

Nor is mass murder,  that came later on for power wealth , due the twisted unions they employed for power and today psychobabble now used to reinforce humanists control..

His ekkesia  ceased to be  Society of the like minded , spirit led where freedom  of the spirit  reigned, and became  a stupendous sacerdotal civitas where the priest craft  claimed  to be the  satores Dei... ((mediums! christ was not enough)) man inserted him self as a medium to go through........amazing... this took place prods as well.

Now they hate Paul and chapter 5.13 says, they are ‘biting and devouring one another.’ Why is this?
It is because legalism is a system that thrives on personal performance, personal supremacy, and sadly, the trampling of others. It relentlessly squashes grace, mercy and humility.
Legalism believes the prize is one through personal exertion and sees any who be in the way of the prize not as people to be served but obstacles to be removed.

You may recall that a few Friday’s ago, on the Nation’s biggest shopping day that there was tragic occurrence at a Wal-Mart in Long Island, NY. Shortly before the doors opened shoppers pushed through the door and trampled the workers in their way. One Wal-Mart employee was crushed in the selfish stampede.
This is the way legalism functions. It is an environment of competition. The Wal-Mart stampede occurred because there were a limited number of Blue Ray’s.

We act like there is only a limited number of spots available for us, and so we have cut others down, biting and devouring one another, in pursuit of our prize. We falsely think that the competition is between us and other people, so we set up rules and tear down others; judging and defrauding one another. in the past centuries they burned droves of people for their power,,, no kidding!!

Legalism Demotes Jesus (and his sufficient righteousness)

This really is, at its core, the offense of legalism.
To maintain that you can merit God’s favor outside of the work of Christ is to say that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus either was not necessary or was not sufficient.
To cling to personal merit through doing things (however good or biblical they may seem) is to demote Jesus from his place of supremacy.
Legalism thinks that God accepts us because we do this or don’t do this…no, God accepts sinners because Jesus lived an obedient life in our place and died the death penalty that we earned!
We must see that fastening your grip upon other things is a loosening of our grip upon Jesus. This is the pattern here in our verses:
Colossians 2:8 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
Colossians 2:17 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ
Colossians 2:18-19 18 Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.
Colossians 2:20-22 20 If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, 21 “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” 22 (which all refer to things destined to perish with use)– in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men?
Colossians 2:23 – 3:1 23 These are matters which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence.
And Paul jumps in with some more in Galatians:

Galatians 2:21 21 “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”

Do you elevate to the status of moral law something the Bible does not require?

Let me mention just a few examples. Whereas the Bible explicitly forbids drunkenness, it does not require total abstinence. Make no mistake: total abstinence from alcohol is great. As a Christian you are certainly free to adopt that as a lifestyle. But you are not free to condemn those who choose to drink in moderation. You may discuss with them the wisdom of such a choice and the practical consequences of it, but you must not condemn them as sub-spiritual or as falling short of God’s best.

Defining Legalism

Legalism has been defined in a number of ways, but here is my attempt: Legalism is the tendency to regard as divine law things that God has neither required nor forbidden in Scripture, and the corresponding inclination to look with suspicion on others for their failure or refusal to conform. One might also call this a religious spirit insofar as man-made religion and legalism go hand in hand. It all comes down to this: I create rules and expectations not found in the Bible and then feel good about myself and my relationship with God for having obeyed them, all the while I judge others for having failed to live up to this artificial standard of godliness. So, how do I know whether I’m a legalist? Here is a simple test consisting of five questions.

The Bible commands weekly gatherings for prayer, Bible study, worship, and celebration of the sacraments. But the legalist condemns as carnal anyone who ever, for any reason, misses a Sunday service or dares to watch a football game in the afternoon or chooses to mow the lawn after church. If you prefer not to work on Sunday or watch athletic events or perform household chores, that’s wonderful. But don’t condemn others who differ. Why? Because God doesn’t condemn them.

By way of illustration, suppose an especially godly believer is doing things well 95 percent of the time. If you are a religious legalist, you will look right past the 95 percent that she does well and hone in on the 5 percent that she does poorly. Since legalists love picking away at how others fall short, you will highlight how she fails to live up to your expectations of perfection. Her 5 percent failure rate undermines the 95 percent she does well. Any good that she does suddenly counts for nothing. You are blinded to the fruit it produces and incapable of understanding her best motives.
